This study summarizes and analyzes the literature of multi-sensory design in China, explores the current situation, hotspots and development trends of research in this field, and provides references for future theoretical and practical research in the field of multi-sensory design. The study is based on bibliometric analysis, applying 741 literature of multi-sensory design from 2005 to 2021 that are collected from databases including CNKI, Wanfang, CQVIP, Chaoxing and Airitilibrary as objects of analysis, and applying software such as CiteSpace and NoteExperss to sort and visualize the information on publication time, journals, highly cited literature, authors, institutions and
