目的 通过文化符号学理论对北部湾城市文化进行深入分析，旨在探索如何让城市文化特色更好地融入于休憩家具设计，从而为其提供新的设计思路和方法。方法 以洛曼特文化符号学为基本理论指导，遵循“符号-文本-文化-符号域”的原则，从文本开始，提取文化符号，提炼北部湾城市文化符号和设计元素，归纳和总结相关文化符号元素，构成城市文化符号域，指导休憩家具设计实践。结论 研究构建了一套完整的“文本-符号-文化”闭环设计系统，得到北部湾文化符号库，并进行无外延的艺术编码，以及外延、内涵共存的社会编码的休憩家具设计实践，总结出独特的符号提取原则和设计方法。搭建系统的城市文化符号艺术编码及转译，是一种对城市文化更深的诠释与传递，可提升城市形象与文化自信。

The work aims to explore how to integrate the urban cultural characteristics into the design of leisure furniture better through the in-depth analysis of Beibu Gulf urban culture by the theory of cultural semiotics, so as to provide new design ideas and methods. With Lomantian cultural semiotics as the theoretical foundation, based on the principle of "symbol-text-culture-symbol domain", starting from the text, the cultural symbols were extracted, the Beibu Gulf urban cultural symbols and design elements were refined, the relevant cultural symbol elements were summarized and the urban cultural symbol domain was formed to guide the design practice of leisure furniture.A complete closed-loop design system of "text-symbol-culture" is constructed to obtain the Beibu Gulf cultural symbol library, and carry out the design practice of leisure furniture with artistic coding without extension and social coding with coexistence of extension and connotation, thus summarizing the unique symbol extraction principle and design method. The construction of systematic urban cultural symbol art coding and translation is a deeper interpretation and transmission of urban culture, thereby enhancing the urban image and cultural confidence.
