目的 基于可拓语义理论,挖掘楚系鸟虫篆所蕴含的深层寓意,提出具有理论意义和实践价值的传统文字创新设计方法,探索其在数字化背景下再设计的可能。方法 通过探寻楚系鸟虫篆的历史文化渊源,建立起可拓语义基元模型,并使用该模型对此类字体进行量化分析,计算出楚系鸟虫篆的可拓区间。通过使用图解语义对楚系鸟虫篆字体的结构和笔画特征进行提取,从而创作出具有楚系鸟虫篆意象的新字体,并加以数字化延展设计。结果 经过可拓语义计算推演,楚系鸟虫篆新字体与意象词汇强烈相关,既传承了该类字体的文化特征,又具有创新性和应用价值。结论 可拓语义理论在楚系鸟虫篆新字体设计过程中的有效应用为传统文字的数字化创新设计提供新的方法和路径。
Abstract
The work aims to provide a practical and theoretical typeface design method based on extension semantics by analyzing the deep connotation hidden behind the bird-and-insect scripts in the Chu cultural system and to explore the possibility of redesigning these scripts under the information technology. By exploring the historical and cultural significance of the bird-and-insect scripts in the Chu culture system, a basic element model was created based on the extension semantics. Utilizing this model, a quantitative analysis of this typeface was conducted and the extension section was calculated. This allowed for the extraction of features and structures of this typeface based on the graphic semantics. Using this approach, a modern typeface was designed with characters from bird-and-insect scripts in the Chu culture system, as well as digitally represented. As a result, the final design work was deeply connected to the image vocabulary. It not only inherited the cultural contexts but also had innovation and application values. Under this condition, the applications of the extension semantics in the design of bird-and-insect scripts in Chu culture system provide a new method and step for digitalizing the traditional typeface design.
