This paper takes the classical implements of Mongolian under the background of nomadic customs as a research object, which is bagging pot. This paper adopts multi-perspective and wide-dimensional design research methods to conduct detailed analysis, closely to follow the nomadic customs and the clues of the skin pot modeling. On the one hand, in-depth pastoral areas to fully investigate its specific functions. On the other hand, consulting the relevant craftsmen to understand the characteristics of its craft. Based on this, the design, ergonomics and mechanics of Mongolian bagging pots are explored and analyzed in four aspects:material, carrying structure, saving and carrying, and transferring from the microscopic level. At the same time, the study of Mongolian bagging pots is placed in the context of macro nomadic culture, and the design guidelines, concepts and paradigms of the three aspects of the pots, namely, the integration of scientific concepts into the vessels, the casting of nomadic spirit into the appearance, and the exhibition of national identity, are traced objectively and rigorously. The traditional Mongolian apparatus design concept is inherited and carried forward, which provides some inspirations and references for the research and modern extension of the design of traditional Mongolian implements in the nomadic grassland region in the north of China.
