Based on the current inheritance dilemma of Zhangshuiquan bamboo art’s intangible cultural heritage, this paper uses the digital media technology and Internet platform to create an APP that promotes its product innovation and cultural inheritance and helps the dissemination and promotion of its culture and products. provide a reference for the development of intangible cultural heritage in the Hubei area. Starting from the origin of Zhangshuiquan bamboo wares, this article sorts about their types, technical features and art forms, analyzes the major reason that limits its inheritance and development, then, a design strategy is proposed, and the APP is designed in a targeted manner through three strategic modules:digital inheritance, cooperative innovation, and achievement promotion. Zhangshuiquan Bamboo Ware APP design realizes the function of cultural protection by using the advantages of digital media technology and Internet platform to digitally preserve and display its history and craftsmanship; integrates and innovates its traditional skills and cutting-edge design thinking through the online platform that realized the function of design innovation; shows its production process and cultural essence to the public through live broadcast and accurate push, and realizes the function of product promotion. Finally, the design of zhangshuiquan bamboo ware APP provides a new path for the inheritance and promotion of bamboo art.
