As an environmental protection material for packaging, bamboo contains its unique historical and cultural heritage, and deeply explore the design beauty of bamboo elements and extract the corresponding design concepts and methods to provide certain design methods for packaging design. The design beauty of bamboo elements is the functional beauty, which is to use some characteristics of bamboo or bamboo elements to reasonably match, transform and innovate, so as to achieve the final function of designing product packaging. This paper demonstrates and analyzes the design beauty of bamboo element packaging from three parts:quality beauty, shape beauty and technical beauty. rphological beauty and formal beauty displayed by the packaging of bamboo elements, which complement each other; ctional beauty in bamboo element packaging design is analyzed and expounded. With the in-depth development of deep ecological green concept, when designing product packaging, we should pay attention to new high-end technology and innovative design, focus on human design, run through the design principle of "things for human use", and also take into account ecological environmental protection and renewable design concept.
