This paper intends to study the practical method of digital display design of cultural heritage from the perspective of interactive narrative. Starting from the analysis of the elements and characteristics of interactive narrative in digital display, this paper constructs the interactive narrative context, clarifies the design process and principles of cultural heritage digital display based on interactive narrative, and takes the digital display design of Pan of Zi Zhong Jiang (Spring and Autumn period) as an example to verify the effectiveness of its method.Through coding, the designers convey the cultural heritage theme, digital media and various elements in the narrative content to the real audience after symbolic processing, so that the real audience can decode the information through their sensory needs of vision, touch, hearing, smell and taste, and then receive, understand and identify with its cultural heritage theme. The digital display design based on interactive narrative can break through the time and space boundary, effectively realize the reproduction and dissemination of cultural heritage theme, and enable the audience to bask in the great cultural experience.
