This paper aims to taking traditional craft as the media to create community culture, and explores the strategies of urban communities to boost the development of community cultural characteristics through craft service innovation. It analyzes and summarizes the problems in the existing urban communities, starts from the regression of the essential attributes of the craft, and explains the methods of cultural empowerment of community from the such multidimensional perspectives as value creation and service strategy construction combined with the service design method. The purpose is to explore the new situation of urban community culture constructed by craft service, to form a new relationship of mutual benefit, co-creation, interaction and sharing among participants. It is concluded that the technology culture oriented service innovation is not only to build community space entity level, but also to promote the spread of traditional culture, process industries and the construction of a new neighbourhood relations, for the traditional process implementation in the daily life of the actual research and subsequent innovation or the competent department of culture to promote community cultural industry incubation, the creation provides the certain reference value.
