Abstract

This paper aims to solve the problem that it is difficult for blind people to take medicine accurately and study how to design barrier-free packaging of "blind-use" medicines by using sensory compensation advantages such as touch and hearing based on the principle of sensory compensation, so as to assist blind people to realize scientific, reasonable and accurate medicine use. Based on the physiological and psychological characteristics of blind people, the "pain points" of drug packaging used by blind people were analyzed. On the basis of grasping the sensory compensation mechanism of blind people and combining with specific cases, the ways and methods of barrier-free design of drug packaging were studied. Based on the special sensory compensation mechanism of blind people, when designing barrier-free medicine packaging for blind people, it is necessary to think rationally and deeply about how to use touch and hearing to solve the medication obstacles of blind people to the maximum extent. Through simple and standardized braille labeling design, scientific and reasonable structure design suitable for blind people, intelligent interactive voice instruction design, etc., we can improve drug packaging, enhance the accuracy of drug information transmission, and help blind people to recognize, get and take drugs independently.
