Abstract
This research aims to explore the design approach of a literary-themed tourist train based on narrative design theory. Through the analysis of narrative design theory, the following three elements of narrative design are summarized, namely narrative theme, text and form. Combined with relevant literature and design cases, the research is based on these three elements and summarizes the narrative tourist train design method. Taking the Taizhou tourist train project as the design verification object, the "Gods of He-He" in the Harmony culture is applied to the tourist train design scheme as a literary theme. The scheme is evaluated through the fuzzy integrated evaluation method, and the evaluation results show that the design scheme satisfies the design aesthetics and narrative function requirements, and initially verifies the feasibility of the narrative tourist train design method. In conclusion, based on a narrative design approach, the design effectively establishes an inherent connection between the literary theme and the tourist train, empowering a more profound interactive relationship between the tourist train and the passengers. Furthermore, this method enhances the cultural value of the train and the emotional experience of the passengers, and expands the ways of expression of the local design of the tourist train.
