Abstract

Combine with the current urban development problems and focuse on the long-term development of public facilities to explore the effective integration of sustainable concept. First, starting from the definition of urban public facilities and the sustainable concept, analyse the classification of urban public facilities and scope, and expound the deep connotation of the concept of sustainable development. Secondly, analyse the effect of sustainable concept in the material, size, weight, process performance, efficiency, etc. of public facilities. to provide a basis for the next deeper study, Finally, respectively extend the sustainable development of the public facilities with the consideration of the whole entity, environmental protection, energy, etc. to explore the design directions and design methods of public facilities and to find more scientific sustainable design idea. Sustainable concept is an important rule in the current urban development which must be followed, It affects the public facilities which are an important carrier of civilization in the urban development. The sustainable concept can make public facilities better meet the demands of public and aesthetic, which in turn affects people's thoughts and lives, realizes the combination of function and spirit, and creates more ideal and longer-term urban public facilities.
