This study aims to integrate the related information of medical furniture products comprehensively, studies the matching relationship between medical furniture and doctor-patient users, and aims at providing effective data support and theoretical reference for medical furniture design. Proceeding from the actual demands of doctors and patients, the study did a research on existing products in the market, and conducts field visits to hospitals, clinics and other medical places and collected the medical workers and the public to medical furniture demand willingness through user interview and questionnaire survey. The psychological and physiological states and behavioral manifestations of doctors and patients were analyzed and summarized. Combined with the current situations of medical furniture consumption market, the information of 6,270 pieces of medical furniture products from 277 large-scale domestic and foreign brands was collected, and the categories, materials, colors and other aspects of furniture were integrated, and the use functions of medical furniture products were emphatically analyzed. In addition, the satisfaction degree and demand willingness of 128 medical staff and 278 ordinary people on existing medical furniture were collected. Based on the theoretical framework of the hierarchy of medical and patient needs, the design principles and methods of medical furniture based on functions, environmental protection, safety, humanization and aesthetics are established, and an improved idea of a multifunctional diagnostic bed is put forward.
