Abstract
This paper aims tocomprehensively consider the needs of catering companies and customers, determine the importance of customer needs for the design of children's dining chairs in public restaurants, and provide design references for designing dining chairs that satisfy multiple customers. First, through user interviews with relevant personnel of the catering company and dinning customers, the common needs of both customers are obtained, that is, the core needs, and the importance of the relevant personnel of the catering company to the core needs is obtained through the entropy method. Also, the fuzzy Kano model is used to obtain Dining customers' requirements for the category of core needs. Finally, we introduce an importance adjustment function, adjust the initial importance, determine the final importance that comprehensively considers the needs of multiple customers, and provide a reference for the subsequent optimal design of children's dining chairs. Based on the analysis of eleven core requirements and the perspective of multiple customers, the optimal design direction of children's dining chairs was finally identified. By comprehensively considering the needs of multiple customers, it helped relevant designers determine the key and optimized design direction of children's dining chairs in public restaurants, which has a certain reference value for the targeted design of dining chairs that satisfy multiple customers.
