Abstract

The work aims to explore the applicability and value of Kansei Engineering in general aircraft painting scheme design. From a theoretical level, the aircraft painting scheme design and Kansei Engineering were introduced. Then, based on the research of the existing general aircraft painting scheme design, a general aircraft painting scheme design method based on Kansei Engineering was proposed. Furthermore, the specific steps and requirements of this method was explained. Finally, with a certain type of normal general aircraft as an example, applied research was carried out. According to the analysis results, the five kansei vocabularies having the greatest impact on the perceptual cognition of general aircraft painting were "smart", "new-energy", "innovative", "streamlined" and "safe". Furthermore, the correlation between the kansei vocabularies of general aircraft painting scheme was highly significant. The painting scheme with the analysis results of kansei vocabulary as the design goal achieved a good design effect. The aircraft painting scheme design based on Kansei Engineering can better meet the perceptual cognitive needs of users. The Kansei Engineering method will have good applicability and wide application prospects in the field of aircraft painting scheme design.
