Especially in the current development pace of the times, their roles are more prominent. Therefore, in the realistic design practice, it is inevitable to explore the personalized and artistic expression of urban public facilities, and its integration with regional culture also tends to mature. Combined with the application status of regional cultural elements in the current design of public facilities, corresponding problems were analyzed to put forward several application principles available for following and discuss the details of materials, colors, shapes and cultural connotations of regional cultural elements in the design of public facilities. At the same time, with reference to several specific design cases of public facilities, the integration of regional cultural elements was deeply investigated. The integration of regional cultural elements into the design of public facilities can further express the characteristics of the city and the uniqueness of regional culture, so that public facilities can better meet people's needs for modern life, and create more alternative space for the promotion of traditional urban regional culture.
