The work aims to present and innovatively design a Korean traditional furniture database to provide a resource library for digital design development of Korean traditional furniture. After extraction and analysis of the existing traditional furniture objects in decorative modeling, patterns, skills, accessories, colors and materials, digital reorganization and innovative design application were conducted by labeling the modeling, materials, national totem patterns and colors with the visual image technology. The database of Korean traditional furniture was established. The idea of digital reorganization and innovative design based on the furniture style and technology was proposed and applied to design of Korean furniture. From the perspective of inheritance, the dadabase information of Korean traditional furniture culture is collected and presented, and the application of innovative design in public space is expanded to seek new ideas and ways for inheritance and application of traditional furniture in national living environment space.
