Due to the increasing pressure on hands, the discomfort of hands is increasing day by day. It is of great practical significance to accurately and effectively develop a new hand massage instrument to meet people's new demand for hand massage maintenance and fill the market gap. By combing product design and evaluation methods, analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and theory of inventive problem solving (TRIZ) were integrated into the process of integrated new product development (iNPD), and the integrated model for product innovation design was obtained. The design gap was analyzed, the conceptual design was carried out, the product model was made, and the use evaluation was obtained to guide the design and research of the hand massage instrument. Under the guidance of the integrated model, a new hand massage instrument was developed and designed scientifically and efficiently. The product could stimulate the hand muscles through the improved transcutaneous electrical technology to achieve the massage effect. Its brand-new functional design, appearance design and interactive design filled the gap in the market and met people's use needs. Practice proves that under the guidance of the integrated model, the design opportunity of the hand massage instrument can be accurately taken, the technical problems can be scientifically solved, the user needs can be effectively met, and the hand fatigue can be alleviated. At the same time, the theoretical model can provide ideas and methods for designers and enterprises in innovative design of related products.
