Abstract

The work aims to design and develop a disinfection facility for the nozzles of self-service gas stations in the context of virus prevention and control, so that every user of the station can have access to clean and non-toxic nozzles without changing the original use process, thus preventing the cross-transmission of viruses in the public area of the station to the greatest extent. The UV disinfection technology was used to fully disinfect and sterilize the external surface of the nozzles, and the process was repeated after the use of each user, so that the nozzles were kept in a non-toxic and sterile state at all times, thus preventing the spread of the virus among users. After calculation and deduction, the design could effectively eliminate the germs on the surface of the nozzles, effectively blocking the transmission of viruses, while the new equipment did not affect the original self-service refueling process of users, retaining the original use experience. The design plays a role in blocking the spread of viruses in the field of public health, and has a profound and extensive effect in the defense of viruses.
