Abstract

In the information age, a single reading mode can no longer meet the needs of readers. Books show diversity and interactivity and interactive experience books are popular in the book market. The work aims to explore new ways to protect cultural heritage and realize the inheritance and development of traditional culture through the design of the interactive experience book "Su Deng". The information of Suzhou lanterns was extracted and classified by historical documents and interviews, and the successful cases of interactive books on cultural heritage were summarized by case analysis.With the development and popularization of AR and other technologies, the proportion of interactive design in the protection and inheritance of cultural heritage will gradually increase. In the design process, the complementary advantages of traditional media and intelligent technology should be fully utilized, focusing on information collection, multimedia display, interactive participation, visual arrangement, and technological integration, in order to enhance the public's understanding and appreciation of cultural heritage and simultaneously create a brand new reading and participation experience, making cultural heritage books more attractive and interactive.
