Digital cultural and creative industry is a new form of business facilitated by information revolution and technological innovation, as well as the continuous crossing and development of multiple industries, which is closely related to culture, economy and national strategy. Through the study of digital cultural and creative industry, the current research hotspots and future development trends in this field are obtained, to promote the competitiveness of the industry in the new round of scientific and technological revolution, industrial transformation and future competition. CiteSpaces is the most popular visual scientific literature analysis tool in the current academic field. It can be used to construct the subject knowledge map, analyze the research hotspots, and reveal the frontier trends. Therefore, CiteSpace was used to summarize the literature of CNKI from 2002 to 2022 and make visual analysis. Digital cultural and creative industry is a new interdisciplinary research field. In the past four years, the digital cultural and creative industry has developed rapidly, which is closely related to national strategies and policies. The research topics of digital cultural and creative industries are rich, and the research hotspots are digital media, cultural industries, creative industries, cultural and creative industries, and digital economy. There are some problems in the research, such as insufficient research commitment, weak sense of cooperation, difficult combination of theory and practice, and backward industrial construction. In the future, there is a large research space in this field, which needs to be further promoted. The cross-institutional, cross-regional and interdisciplinary cooperation platform needs to be established to strengthen the quantitative research of digital cultural and creative industries and provide guidance for the construction of a new pattern of digital cultural and creative industries.
