Abstract
The baby stroller is one of the products with the highest usage rate in baby products, but the current use cycle is relatively short, which is easy to waste resources. In order to extend the service life of the baby stroller, the work aims to apply the matrix method to the design of the long-distance baby stroller. Firstly, according to the characteristics of products, the characteristics and functions of baby strollers and suitcases were analyzed by matrix method, and the functional models of each product were obtained. Secondly, each product was divided into units composed of success function and corresponding components, and the functional similarity matrix of the two products and the component function matrix of each product were obtained after the analysis according to the corresponding position in the functional model. Finally, the component function matrix of the stroller and the suitcase was overlapped and multiplied by the function similarity matrix. After the functional model was simplified, the corresponding components were analyzed and integrated, so that they could form the required functional components according to the relationship and reference proportion in the final table, and the functional components were applied to the design of the long-distance stroller. Under the support of matrix theory and based on the product design process, the user research, market research, man-machine structure and other analysis of the stroller were carried out. By summing up the needs, the most appropriate design scheme was finally obtained. Then, through model production and testing, the feasibility of the long-distance stroller scheme was further verified. By analyzing and calculating the design elements of the product with matrix method and applying the matrix method to the design and research of the long-distance stroller, it can help designers find the innovation direction of the product, promote the design scheme of the long-distance stroller to be more scientific and reasonable, and provide a new design idea for the future related product design.
