Abstract

The work aims to study the design of home-based smart elderly care service in Zhejiang Province based on case application. According to the four links of the inclusive design process, a total of more than 77 user interview data were investigated and collected in the exploration stage, and then the pilot user concept was introduced, and the data of pilot users in daily life were collected and observed by intelligent devices and cross-analyzed combined with the interview content. The user journey map was drawn to excavate the pain points in daily life of four typical elderly pilot users in Zhejiang Province, and service concept schemes were proposed respectively. Finally, innovative design methods were reflected and concluded. A case study on the design of urban home-based smart elderly care service in Zhejiang from the perspective of inclusiveness was carried out to verify the feasibility of the research methods and processes proposed above, and three design reflections were summarized. With the pilot user as the center, the resulting service concept can be more inclusive. Cross-analysis of data collected from intelligent devices and user research helps to understand the pilot user in depth. The application of intelligent technology not only needs to evaluate the feasibility of the technology, but also needs to focus on the acceptance of intelligent technology by the elderly. Finally, the above three points of reflection are combined with the research processes and methods mentioned above to generate innovative methods, so as to improve the feasibility of the design results.
