Abstract
CMF is a key theory that supports the development of good product design and is widely used in practical activities. Through the in-depth exploration and comprehensive analysis of this theory, the work aims to understand the basic demand of the growth of preschool children, and apply it in the tableware design of preschool children. This mode of operation has a very important influence on the overall improvement of product competitiveness and profitability as well as the continuous expansion of the scope of adaptation. The design value, main status quo, and major defects in the tableware for preschool children were investigated and summarized. According to the physical and mental development characteristics and core demands of preschool children, the specific requirements were analyzed from color dimension (C), material dimension (M) and surface treatment technology dimension (F), and the relevant empirical cases were studied and interpreted. It was concluded that CMF design was of great practical significance to the development of tableware design for preschool children. Summarizing the general rules of CMF design and combining them with the tableware design of preschool children can avoid the deficiencies in the tableware design process specifically for this special group, so that the market competitiveness of this product will be continuously enhanced. At the same time, it can also create a better and healthier eating environment for children.
