Abstract
Tianshui turtle shaped snake pattern for longevity is an auspicious pattern of architectural decoration, which contains rich regional cultural characteristics. It extremely highlights the imprint of the times and aesthetic trend in modeling culture and other aspects, but it is not fully integrated into contemporary life at present. Therefore, modern scientific and reasonable design methods should be used to shorten the distance between tradition and fashion, so as to enhance the popularity of turtle shaped snake patterns for longevity, and realize the activation and regeneration of traditional excellent regional cultural resources. Firstly, the cultural gene of the pattern was analyzed through literature, books and field investigation, including dominant and recessive parts, which provided a strong theoretical support for the design evolution and application of the following text. Then, based on the theoretical analysis results, the CGM design element model was drawn from different levels to form a modeling library, and the core cultural factors were extracted through user research. Then, a digital APP application model and interface design was constructed and developed to enhance the audience's sense of participation and interactivity by means of modern communication platforms. Finally, the specific case practice was carried out to form a new pattern and apply it to the interior decoration design to verify the feasibility of this APP. The design evolution of the turtle shaped snake pattern for longevity is not only a formal innovation, but also a genetic change, which makes it more in line with modern aesthetic needs and expands the audience circle, and promotes the wider use and diversified display of culture.
