Waste eggshell is a typical countryside waste resource and accumulated countryside waste is gradually causing ecological environmental problems. Therefore, effective utilization of such resources is an important content of rural ecological and cultural construction. The recycling technology for design of countryside waste eggshell resources was studied, and the waste eggshells were transformed into a new composite material. At the same time, the material properties such as processability, stability and overall appearance were preliminarily tested to study the application direction of material in product design. Design practice was conducted based on the study and questionnaire method was used to investigate the users' satisfaction to designed products. Finally, the design and application practice based on countryside scenes was carried out, and the waste eggshells were designed and rebuilt into decorations and daily necessities. The waste eggshells can be made into a new material that is easy to process by the design and recycling process, so that they have unique appearance texture, light transmittance, certain stability and can be naturally degraded. The design application process is relatively uncomplicated, low cost, not requiring professional equipment and environmental friendly. It is suitable for countryside scenes of small batch handcrafts production. The products are presenting native countryside aesthetic feelings and have application prospects.
