The work aims to summarize the current situation of user-centered agricultural machinery product design and research, and analyze the design trend combined with the development of China's agricultural field. Methods such as literature analysis, induction and case analysis were mainly adopted. First of all, based on innovative design and practical application, the category of agricultural machinery products was defined. Secondly, the development process of user-centered agricultural machinery products was summarized from mechanical development and appearance design. The existing research content of agricultural machinery product design was summarized from user experience, user interface and user safety in agricultural machinery product design. The research results of user-centered agricultural machinery product design were summarized. Finally, combining the factors of agricultural mechanization, application of agricultural science and technology, agricultural labor force and so on, the user-centered research trend of agricultural machinery product design was put forward from three aspects:the change of user group, agricultural sharing and agricultural geographical environment. Compared with foreign agricultural machinery product design, domestic agricultural machinery product design needs to be combined with agricultural environment, farmers, rural actual situation to carry out targeted design exploration. It has reference value for the research of user related problems in the design of agricultural machinery products.
