Abstract

The work aimsto explore how Chinese traditional embroidery products achieve higher consumer satisfaction and make innovative design recommendations on the ways to achieve more diversified customer experience. Based on the consumer's demand preference, field survey, affinity graph, questionnaire, Kano model, Better-Worse, four-quadrant analysis and other relevant research methods were combined to grasp the consumer demand for embroidery products more comprehensively and accurately from four demand latitudes of product design, product production, product performance, product culture. As a result, consumers were more likely to value product culture and the feeling of providing quality services. Their satisfaction with those services might be influenced by other factors, such as the preservation of embroidery culture, as well as the unique custom-made system. In conclusion, through Kano model and affinity graph, the real needs of consumers can be better understood. This way can not only enhance the satisfaction of consumers and achieve the spread and popularity of regional characteristics of embroidery products, and but also provide a new idea for regional embroidery product design.
