Abstract

The work aims to reduce the error rate in the operation process of the upper pressing machine and optimize the man-machine interaction experience. Based on the Kano model, the experience and needs of operators and enterprise managers in using the current equipment were analyzed. FAST theory was used to redefine the functional area of the equipment and guide the design development. Based on ergonomic theory (E), the functional layout and structural dimensions of the design scheme were optimized to improve the efficiency of man-machine operation. The eye tracking test was used to compare and verify the functional layout before and after improvement, and the user satisfaction evaluation of the design scheme was carried out with the help of Likert scale. The design practice of the upper pressing machine was completed, which improved the man-machine performance, effectively increased the reading efficiency of operators, and reduced visual fatigue and incorrect operation. The improved upper pressing machine gives workers a safer and more efficient and humanized operation mode, which verifies that the design strategy of Kano-FAST-E has guiding significance for the man-machine optimization design of the equipment, and also provides a reference for the development practice of similar equipment.
