The work aims to delve deeply into the development trend of functional design practices for winter sportswear equipment, conduct a systematic review and analysis of such practices and their trends in China, and clarify the future development trend and the application feasibility of winter sportswear equipment in China. An overview of winter sportswear equipment was given first, followed by a summarization of the development process and current situation of winter sportswear equipment by the literature review method, and a forecast of the development trend. Taking the design of winter sportswear equipment as an example, a new design concept for winter sportswear equipment was proposed, emphasizing a balance between functionality and user experience. By studying the functional design practices of winter sportswear equipment and under the opportunities presented by the growing trend of ice and snow sports in China, the research provides a new perspective on the design of winter sportswear equipment, offering valuable references for future product development and innovation.
