Application and Thinking of AIGC in Industrial Design

Abstract

The work aims to sort out the development, evolution and application of AIGC (artificial intelligence generated content) technology, find the application method of AIGC technology in industrial design through practical cases, and verify the degree of AIGC technology applied in the industrial design process at present. The industrial design process optimized by AIGC technology was used to design and develop the "auditorium chair" furniture design project, and the application of AIGC technology in the industrial design process was analyzed through the whole process operation of the project design and manufacturing. The validity and limitations of AIGC technology in the industrial design process were verified by practical cases. The characteristics of the industrial design process optimized by AIGC were analyzed and explored. The advantages and disadvantages of AIGC technology in industrial design application are proposed. It verifies that AIGC technology can bring process optimization to the industrial design process. AIGC technology can effectively save time cost, improve design efficiency and save money. The link that AIGC technology can not solve in the current industrial design process is put forward.
