The work aims to explore the application value and methods of folk paper-cut elements in furniture design, so as to provide more ideas for furniture design. Literature and case study were used to analyze the application of folk paper-cut elements in furniture design, and a more intuitive and feasible method was obtained. For the application of folk paper-cut elements in furniture design, it is necessary to master the methods of direct application, indirect application and deformation application, properly use patterns, rationally use paper-cut colors and express emotions with cultural connotations.
