Abstract
The work aims toimprove the user experience of village guide systems, explore the system standards for user satisfaction evaluations, and provide a design process based on objectivity and user orientation. The text mining techniques were used to collect raw data from user reviews, perform exploratory factor analysis to reduce dimensionality, extract 5 components as latent variables through principal component analysis, and treat relevant indicators as observed variables. Next, the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was applied to construct a hierarchical structure between latent and observed variables, followed by a goodness-of-fit analysis of the results. Finally, the findings were used to guide the design practice of the guide system. Through the analysis of the structural model results, the influence weights of latent variables and observed variables were examined, confirming that "clear directional guidance" is the most critical indicator affecting user satisfaction, followed by "ethnic aesthetic appeal", "cultural functionality", and "reasonable scene interaction". Specific observed variable factor loadings were used to guide the design practice. In addition to fulfilling directional functionality, guide systems should enhance the added value of ethnic culture, expand ethnic influence through ethnic cultural symbols, and preserve ethnic culture while promoting the development of ethnic villages.
