Abstract

The work aims to thoroughly analyze the practical application of guide systems at high-speed railway stations in interchange hubs, closely monitor the development trends and latest dynamics of urban intelligent transportation guide systems, address core issues such as visual confusion and inadequate guidance that users may encounter during interchange and put forward targeted optimization design proposals in the research background of constructing an international comprehensive transportation hub city in Chongqing so as to meet the suitability and diversity needs of various groups of people traveling by high-speed rail and to upgrade the city's image as a showcase window. This paper conducted an evidential study on the design principles and layout methods of urban high-speed railway station guide systems, with a focus on urban intelligent travel and digital guide systems. Combined with research on passengers' psychological needs such as spatial navigation, sense of security, and comfort, the paper summarized the design ideas of guide systems for rail transit interchange stations. It comprehensively considered factors such as color application, font size and contrast, font style and visual clarity, layout logic and information hierarchy, to control the visual clarity, layout scale, color materials, and technical processes of guide systems. In conclusion, based on respecting spatial trends, user experience, and visual processes, focusing on intelligent transportation guide systems, this paper fully explores the efficiency and convenience of high-speed railway station interchange guide systems, aiming to enhance the construction level, operational efficiency, and people's travel experience at the hub.
