Abstract

The work aims to analyze the research progress, hot topics, and development trends in the field of medical visualization design through bibliometric analysis from both Chinese and international perspectives and draw the conclusions and recommendations regarding the development of medical visualization research in China and abroad by quantitatively comparing and analyzing the literature, to supplement the comprehensiveness of medical visualization research in China. The research topic "medical visualization design" was searched in CNKI of China and Web of science abroad from the field of social science research, and the visualization tools of bibliometric analysis, Citespace and Vosviewer, were used to carry out bibliometric visualization analysis and knowledge graph analysis. The research in Chinese medical visualization design was moving towards the comprehensive application development of intelligent healthcare, encompassing data, products, systems, and space. The development of this field internationally reflected a circular development model of care, public, digital, and technology. Medical visualization design continued to evolve towards personalization, precision, and interactivity. The different development and evolution paths of medical visualization design research in China and abroad are analyzed comparatively, and the evidence-based visualization tool research models of medical visualization design are summarized from an innovation perspective, providing guidance for the future development of medical visualization design.
