Abstract
The work aims to explore the methods and ideas of the integrating affordance theory into the design of intelligent kitchen appliance interaction interfaces, to address the increasingly complex challenges of intelligent kitchen appliance interaction methods and logic, and improve the usability and user experience of intelligent kitchen appliance interaction interfaces. Firstly, the corresponding relationship between the theory of affordance and the interactive mode of intelligent kitchen appliances were analyzed, and specific methods of interface design were explored from the physical and psychological levels; Secondly, a design model for intelligent kitchen appliance interaction interface based on affordance was constructed, and the corresponding design process was sorted out; Finally, the interactive interface of the mobile control APP of the intelligent high speed blender was designed and verified by usability evaluation. Under the guidance of the affordance theory, the interactive interface for the mobile control APP of the intelligent wall breaking machine had good usability, and it has corresponding interactive affordance. The application of affordance theory in the design of intelligent kitchen appliance interaction interfaces can effectively address the low interface availability issues that arise in the non-material development trend of their interaction systems, thereby reducing the interaction costs required to achieve user goals, helping to improve the system availability of intelligent kitchen appliance interaction interfaces, and providing users with an efficient and smooth user experience.
