Abstract
The work aims to explore the strategy and application of parametric design from the perspective of morphogenesis, so as to provide a new perspective and possibility for design innovation, and offer a research case for the interdisciplinary integration of design education and design practice. Based on the principle of morphogenesis and the generation of parametric design model, the experimental design was carried out with the household tabletop utensils as the design object, and the design scheme was materialized by digital manufacturing technology. Significant progress was made in the exploration of parametric design strategies from the perspective of morphogenesis, which was successfully verified in the practice of household utensils, achieving innovative results. The cross-integration of knowledge and methods from different disciplines can promote the understanding and application of morphogenetic principles. The synergy between digital technology and natural patterns, the comprehensive application of computational mechanics, and the design transformation and integration of mathematical models can greatly enhance the precise control of morphological generation and bring more space for innovation, which is one of the scientific paths of innovation in the field of design.
