Abstract

The work aims to improve the market competitiveness and brand influence of enterprises, and solve the problem of product innovation based on user needs in the design process. Combined with fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP), quality function deployment (QFD) and TRIZ theory, a three-stage product innovation design model was proposed to analyze user needs and find and solve design problems. By analyzing the relationship between user needs and product design, the user needs were transformed into important technical characteristic indexes of product innovation design, and a product design scheme that met user needs and had innovative value was designed according to the theory of invention problem solving. With the children's scooter as a case, through the analysis on user needs and combined with innovative design methods, a multi-functional children's toy car that integrated the functions of kiddie rides, walkers and scooters was designed. The product innovation design model enhances the added value and competitiveness of industrial products, promotes the new development of product innovation design, and realizes the improvement of enterprise economic benefits and brand benefits.
