Abstract

In order to reduce the influence of personal experience and preferences on the design and development of cultural and creative products, the work aims to assist designers in better understanding design needs, enable them to rely on quantitative analysis to enhance the objectivity of the design process, and ultimately make design decision choices based on data evaluation. The original user need data were obtained through research and the AHP method was used to conduct hierarchical analysis of user needs and determine the weight of user need indicators. The QFD method was adopted to transform user needs into product design performance indicators, construct a product quality house model, analyze the correlation between product performance indicators, and obtain the relative weight results between each indicator. A cultural theme was selected and the indicators obtained in QFD were used as the reference for scheme design. After the design scheme was produced, the VIKOR method was introduced to conduct multi-attribute decision analysis on the scheme, establish an evaluation matrix, and calculate the proximity of the evaluation object to a reasonable scheme. Based on the final calculation results, the schemes were ranked and the optimal solution was selected. Taking the design of the "Gen er" cultural and creative mug as an example, an AHP-QFD-VIKOR integrated method design process is constructed and applied to the process of obtaining and analyzing user needs and design indicators for product design, as well as evaluating design schemes. Application verification has been conducted to verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method in improving product design efficiency and quality.
