Abstract
Around the requirements of top-tier curriculum construction and combined with the orientation and development goals of colleges and universities, the work aims to investigate the path of product design curriculum construction and reform under the background of new liberal arts, in order to improve the level of classroom teaching and the quality of personnel training. By introducing the analysis methods of OBE concept and discipline requirements in the curriculum framework, relying on the construction platform of key majors in Hebei Province and combined with the "Industry-University- Research" teaching mode, exposition and demonstration were carried out from the concept of curriculum goal construction, curriculum content innovation, ideological and political education in curriculum, curriculum design and evaluation criteria. The problems existing in the teaching of the top-tier curriculum "Safety Product Design" and their causes were investigated and the basic standards and main paths of the curriculum construction were put forward. Through the curriculum construction, combined with the characteristic integration of industry and teaching, the teaching effect of "Safety Product Design" was effectively improved, the comprehensive design quality and ability of students were enhanced, and the innovative and applied high-level compound talents were cultivated. The investigation to the top-tier curriculum construction path of "Safety Product Design" under the background of new liberal arts has achieved certain results in interdisciplinary construction and the construction of education model with professional characteristics, which is not only of practical significance for cultivating product design professionals, but also provides reference for other majors and disciplines.
