Abstract

Centered on the theory, methods and case studies of industrial design for emergency rescue equipment from the perspective of public safety and security, the work aims to review the current research status and cutting-edge achievements of this field in China and abroad and analyze the future development and application prospects of such equipment. As the industrial transformation accelerates in China and public safety faces significant challenges, there are increasing demands for the design and development of emergency rescue equipment. Based on the two aspects of "protection" and "rescue" in public safety emergency response scenarios, the industrial design requirements, key characteristics, and supporting technologies of typical individual protection and emergency rescue equipment both in China and abroad were sorted out. Addressing the demand for individual protection and emergency rescue equipment in China's public safety and security field, a comparative analysis is conducted on the development status in China and abroad. The government policy support and safeguard measures are outlined, the opportunities and challenges faced in the development of industrial design for such equipment are summarized, and the future application prospects are proposed. This offers new directions and ideas for the development of critical protection equipment for disaster prevention, mitigation, and emergency response in China.
