Abstract

The smart sweeper is an indispensable product in smart home life, but the interaction and functionality of the existing sweeper tend to be consistent. In order to effectively identify the needs of home cleaning, further enhance the interaction and fun, and scientifically transform them into functional elements and structural parameters of products to improve the satisfaction of smart home products, the work aims to propose a product innovation design method based on the KANO FAST-FBS model. Firstly, based on the Kano model, the user need attributes of smart home products were evaluated quantitatively and the priority of user needs was obtained. Secondly, FAST was used to convert user needs into corresponding product functional elements. Finally, based on the FBS model, the reasonable mapping of product function to structural parameters was realized, and then each structural module of the product was obtained to output the final design scheme. With the sweeping robot as an example, the design process of the Kano-FAST-FBS integration theory was verified. Under the guidance of this method, the smart home design can systematically solve the matching problem between user needs and functional structure modules and form a more accurate design scheme, which can provide a reference for other similar product design.
