Y2K aesthetic style is highly praised by contemporary young people for its simple lines, high saturation colors and comprehensive materials. Through an in-depth understanding of the development process and cultural connotation of Y2K aesthetic style, the work aims to analyze the reasons and inevitability of its popularity and resurgence, including the directional meaning of its aesthetic style, refine its style characteristics and visual elements, and analyze its commonality in combination with the practice of daily-use ceramic design, so as to explore the performance and integration and application possibility of Y2K aesthetic style in the field of daily-use ceramic design. Literature research method, case summary method, image analysis method and experimental exploration method were used for analysis and research. Finally, through the design practice of the daily ceramic work "Days on the Clouds", the aesthetic style and concept of Y2K were integrated, which not only enriched the design language of daily ceramics, but also conveyed the optimistic style attitude and distinctive visual symbols of Y2K aesthetics. This study can not only help the spread and development of Y2K aesthetic style in the new era, but also expand a new path for the design of daily ceramics, so that the design of daily ceramics can be more modern while maintaining the traditional charm, and it is also a manifestation of cultural confidence.
