Factors Influencing User's Intention to Continue Using Smart Fitness Mirrors Based on ECM Model

Abstract

The work aims to employ the ECM model to dissect the elements influencing users' intention to continue using smart fitness mirrors, and explore the connection among users' perceptions of usefulness, confirmation of expectations, and satisfaction. The ECM model was used to deconstruct its key elements, and deeply analyze the influencing factors of each element in combination with SPSS and Amos data analysis tools for empirical research to examine the variable regression relationships among the elements. Perceived usefulness was significantly positively correlated with user satisfaction and the intention to continue use. Confirmation of expectations notably impacted both user satisfaction and perceived usefulness. However, while user satisfaction had a certain impact on the intention to continue use, it did not reach statistical significance. User behavior with smart fitness mirrors exhibits a certain complexity, where perceived usefulness and expectation confirmation play pivotal roles in shaping users' intention to continue using. By confirming the applicability of the ECM model, it is evident that optimizing the key to such products lies in enhancing product performance and providing personalized added value to enhance the user experience.
