The work aims to analyze and summarize the core journals in the field of elderly-oriented product design research in China in the past 20 years, and find out the development status, trends and research hotspots, so as to provide reference for product design research under the background of aging. Based on the bibliometrics method, 462 pieces of literature data about the design research of elderly-oriented products in China from 2003 to 2023 collected in the core journals of CNKI, Wanfang Database and VIP-CSTJ were processed, and the advantages of Citespace and VOSviewer were combined to make a visual analysis.
