To explore the cultural connotation and design ideas of bamboo furniture, provide reference for the design of bamboo furniture, and better promote the development of bamboo furniture. Starting from the analysis of the cultural meaning of bamboo furniture, the development history and advantages of bamboo furniture were analyzed, and the innovation path of bamboo furniture design was analyzed. Bamboo furniture has the advantages of low carbon, environmental protection, low price and multiple shapes. In the design process of bamboo furniture, it should be designed from the following four aspects:suitable for the characteristics of bamboo itself, effective use of bamboo's natural beauty, play the role of color diversity, and conform to the principles of human engineering.
