Abstract

The work aims to explore the digital design innovation path for the development of contemporary exhibition halls from a multidisciplinary perspective. Through a literature review on the connotation, application status, communication advantages and design methods of various digital media technologies, this article summarized the innovative practices in the design of the Digital Exhibition Hall of the State Key Laboratory of Materials Chemistry, comprehensively using virtual reality technology and power Digital design methods such as tactile feedback systems, interactive digital platforms, holographic 3D displays, dome projections, and interactive slide rails, to enhance the interactivity and fun immersive interactive experience between visitors and display content, and explore the multi- dimensional expression of digital design. Ultimately, from an interdisciplinary perspective, it provides a media-integrated, cross-sensory interactive digital design innovation method for the development of digital exhibition halls, and promotes in-depth thinking on future digital design innovation.
