Abstract

The work aims to build a new development paradigm of domestic and international dual circulation, clarify the combination framework and collaborative mode of multidimensional innovation chains from the perspective of factor coupling and resource synergy, so as to enhance the resilience of traditional and emerging industrial chains and develop new quality boosters. Coupling and collaborative models of industry and innovation chains were proposed based on the theoretical framework of technological/functional innovation driven by the three-dimensional innovation chain of technology, market, and design. The paths and modes of resilience improvement were proposed for the traditional consumer goods, emerging, and pillar industry chains. Based on the spatial position of each industry chain in the three-dimensional innovation chain, a resilience enhancement decision-making framework was constructed. The combination of the market and design innovation chains in China could drive functional innovation, and enhance the resilience of the traditional consumer goods industry chain. Combining technology and market innovation chains to drive technological and functional innovation could improve the resilience of strategic emerging industry chains. Combining technology, market, and design innovation chains to drive technological and functional innovation could enhance the resilience of strategic pillar industry chains. The scientific combination of multidimensional innovation chains on the principle of "one chain, one policy," especially the role of design innovation chains in pulling technological innovation, can enhance the resilience of the industrial chains, provide users welfare, and promote social contribution.
