Abstract

In order to improve the fun and experience of hand rehabilitation training for patients with hand dysfunction, the work aims to explore the product design strategies for hand rehabilitation training activities. The experience and needs of existing hand rehabilitation training products were investigated and analyzed, the relevant functional elements were extracted, and the user needs were analyzed and extracted based on the Kano model to obtain the weighting order of the need elements, and clarify the key needs and product features. Based on the Pugh decision matrix, the initial conceptual plan was evaluated and screened from the perspectives of user need elements and user experience, and then optimized to obtain the final plan. By combining the Kano model with the Pugh decision matrix, the design elements of the hand rehabilitation training product were analyzed and evaluated, and the reasonable innovative design plans were screened under this guidance, so that the final design output could be improved in terms of the operation mode, functional modules, and user experience. The application of Kano-Pugh to the design process of hand rehabilitation training products can reasonably explore user needs, evaluate product design plans, and provide ideas for the development and optimization of similar types of rehabilitation training products.
