Design of Charging Service System for Electric Bicycles in Universities Based on SAPAD-Kano

Abstract

In view of the fact that the construction of electric bicycle charging service system attracts more attention from universities, but the user's charging experience is not good, the work aims to study the design of the service system from the user's behavior to improve the user's satisfaction. The user's behavior was investigated and the different behavior scenarios were sorted out. The user's charging behavior process was analyzed based on SAPAD model, and the functional service module was obtained through "core meaning cluster-object" mapping analysis. The Kano model was introduced to classify and filter the functional service modules in line with the user's needs. The charging station service system for electric bicycles in universities was reconstructed. With Z university as an example, the charging station layout, charging pile equipment and WeChat applet were redesigned, and the charging pile model was made. A 5-point Likert scale satisfaction questionnaire was distributed to users to compare their ratings before and after the design. The results showed that user's satisfaction was significantly improved. The method of service system design based on SAPAD-Kano model can realize the mapping among user's behavior, user's needs and function design, and ensure the consistency between function design and user's needs, providing reference for similar design and evaluation.
