Abstract

The work aims to further study the factors affecting the passage experience and comfort of intelligent turnstiles, and enhance the comfort of the passage experience. The behavioral characteristics of passersby when passing through intelligent turnstiles through methods such as user behavior observation, eye-tracking, and subjective questionnaires were analyzed, in order to derive passersby's requirements for the interaction design of intelligent turnstiles.Issues such as inefficient interface design and lack of attention guidance in interaction design leading to inefficient passage for users when passing through intelligent turnstiles were identified, a "comfortable and smooth" experience evaluation model was introduced, and an intelligent turnstile interaction design aimed at providing users with a "comfortable and smooth" experience was proposed. Finally, the application of the "comfortable and smooth" experience model in interaction design of intelligent turnstiles was verified through the practical design of an airport self-service security checkpoint intelligent turnstile.
